Learn how cross-industry partnerships are enabling companies to accelerate commercialization & empower the developing world.
Join us for an evening gathering of pioneers at the intersection of Health-tech, Ed-tech and international development. Connect with leaders across industries - corporate, startup, NGO and social impact - to learn how the convergence of Health-tech & Ed-tech will soon affect your industry; from high-tech in population health, to "smart villages" in the developing world.
The developing world's smartphone adoption is driving game-changing innovation in the Health-tech & Ed-tech industries. Apps and online services are empowering some of the world's poorest people to access free health and education resources, at scale. The impact is arguably greatest in off-grid communities, where over 1 Billion people lack basic health, education and infrastructure.
A disruptive partnership model is emerging for Health-tech & Ed-tech pioneers: accelerate innovation through faster pilots and validation of new intervention models in the developing world.
The symposium will directly contribute to a pilot study supporting the increasingly validated "smart village" model in off-grid communities, where telehealth & medicine are sustained by ongoing education. Insights will be used to identify key opportunities/challenges for scaling technologies from pilots in off-grid communities. Resulting parameters will be used to select 1 technology for a real world study and subsequent publication and distribution in our sponsor's networks.
